Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Haven Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Oakland. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on corrective actions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for training materials. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
