Quality Inspector - corrective actions (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Ashton Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across New Orleans. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on corrective actions. You would join a large organisation of about 337 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for test reports. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
