Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Knoxville, TN)

Redstone Beacon Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Knoxville and nearby communities. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on corrective actions. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for pipe repairs. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
