Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ember Press and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be corrective actions. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Houston. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for paper stock. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
