Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Detroit, MI)

Northwind Logistics makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for sanitation schedules. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
