Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Yarrow Foods Group is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on corrective actions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for ingredient orders. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
