Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Pine Manufacturing makes precision components in Detroit, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for production lines. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
