Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Des Moines, IA)

Redstone Birch Foods is a Des Moines food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would join a large organisation of about 646 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for allergen controls. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
