Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Junction Press is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on corrective actions for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for bindery work. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
