Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Birmingham serving local and national clients, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would join a large organisation of about 260 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for press runs. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
