Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Austin, TX)

Summit Ember Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Austin plant, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our corrective actions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for press runs. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
