Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Manufacturing Group is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on corrective actions for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for tooling. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
