Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Wichita, KS)

Summit Junction Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
