Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Wichita, KS)

Lumen River Construction is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to safety records at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
