Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Ivory Foods is a Virginia Beach food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
