Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Meadow Housing Associates provides affordable homes and support services around Virginia Beach, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to rent assistance at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
