Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Toledo, OH)

Northwind Birch Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Toledo, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to seasonal crews at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support seasonal crews. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
