Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Tampa, FL)

Westbrook Meridian Foods is a Tampa food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
