Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (St. Louis, MO)

Rivermark Birch Foods is a St. Louis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
