Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Savannah, GA)

Highbridge Lakeside Civic Services is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to procurement at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support procurement. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
