Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Jose, CA)

Bright Pine Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in San Jose, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Keep stock linked to waiting lists at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support waiting lists. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
