Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Meadow Markets Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 217 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
