Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield North Pharma and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to clinical studies at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support clinical studies. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
