Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Diego, CA)

Westbrook Thistle Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around San Diego. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to safety records at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
