Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Drift Farms and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 409 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to seasonal crews at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
