Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Ivory Foods is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules.
