Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Antonio, TX)

Nova Amber Press produces print and digital publications in San Antonio. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to proofing at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
