Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Lantern Early Learning and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to enrolment at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support enrolment. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
