Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 332 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
