Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Umber Hospitality and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Keep stock linked to housekeeping schedules at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
