Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Richmond, VA)

Silverline Lakeside Farms Partners is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
