Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Richmond, VA)

Redstone Glen Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Richmond plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 771 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
