Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Richmond, VA)

Bright Loom Early Learning runs childcare centres in Richmond caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 651 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to tuition and subsidies at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support tuition and subsidies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
