Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Forge Farms and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 129 people based in Reno. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
