Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Reno, NV)

Silverline Thistle Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Reno plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. • Experience with an ERP system.
