Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Nova Oak Foods is a Indianapolis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
