Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Summit Birch Farms is an agricultural business based around Reno, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 490 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
