Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Basin Foods Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
