Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Cedar Forge Freight is a St. Louis logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
