Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Fernwood River Markets Group is a Boston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
