Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Harborlight Linden Foods Group is a San Antonio food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
