Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Amberfield Oak Foods Partners is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
