Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Harborlight Cross Hospitality is a hospitality company in New Orleans with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 69 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to food costs at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support food costs. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
