Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Northwind Haven Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Keep stock linked to repair requests at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support repair requests. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
