Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Northwind Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
