Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Redstone Union Foods is a Buffalo food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
