Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Fernwood Ivory Hospitality is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to food costs at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support food costs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
