Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Silverline Maple Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
