Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Stonegate Pine Manufacturing makes precision components in Houston, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
