Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Amberfield Timber Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around New Orleans. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer estimates at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer estimates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
